Welcome to Hometown Appliance Service. By scheduling a service call with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Call & Diagnosis Fee

• The Fee: We charge a service call fee of $75.00 for the technician to visit your home and diagnose the appliance.

• Waiver Policy: If you choose to proceed with the recommended repair, this $75.00 fee is waived 100%. You will only be charged for parts and labor.

• Refusal of Repair: If you decline the repair after diagnosis, the $75.00 fee is due immediately.

2. Payment Terms

• Payment is due in full upon completion of the work.

• We accept cash, major credit cards, and checks.

• For special order parts, a deposit may be required before the parts are ordered. Deposits on special order parts are non-refundable if the customer cancels the repair.

3. Warranty Policy

We stand behind our work with the following warranty terms:

• Parts: We offer a 1-Year Warranty on all new parts installed by us (unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer).

• Labor: We offer a 30-Day Warranty on labor. If the same problem recurs within 30 days, we will return to fix it at no additional labor cost.

• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

• New issues unrelated to the original repair.

• Damage caused by customer misuse or external factors (power surges, water damage, pests).

• Clogged drains or filters (these are maintenance issues, not repair defects).

4. Scheduling & Cancellations

• We value your time and ours. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice.

• Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a reduced service fee.

5. Liability & Pre-Existing Conditions
